Volunteers at Kinship Center generously donate their time to help the staff provide support to children and families in a variety of ways. Interested adults and teens should fill out and submit the Volunteer Interest Form and we will contact you. For questions, please call the following numbers.

Kinship Center volunteers may assist in administrative areas or provide hands-on help with programs, camps, tutoring and other activities. To become a volunteer for Kinship Center, individuals are asked to comply with the following:

• Attend a personal interview with a staff member
• Complete a volunteer application
• Successfully complete criminal and child abuse checks
• Complete a health screening that includes a TB test
• There are certain other requirements for volunteers who work directly with children

There are also opportunities to volunteer informally with events, on committees, and in other short-term or one-time projects, and the above process does not apply to adults and young people who help in this way. Many children and teens help Kinship Center by participating in projects through their schools or with their local Scouting or other organizations.
