The Education Institute of Kinship Center is pleased to offer the following online courses at no charge. Both are self-paced and can be completed in either one sitting or multiple sessions. After completing a short registration form, you can begin the courses immediately.

Relative Caregiving: Strategies for Kinship Care
Relative caregivers and professionals are provided with information and intervention techniques to assist children of all ages living with relatives. Presented by Dr. Joseph Crumbley, a nationally known expert and therapist in the field of relative caregiving.

Adoption in the Schools
Developed for adoptive parents, school personnel and adoption professionals, this course will help enhance the academic experience of adopted children. The course will take approximately 60 minutes to complete, and is easily broken into four segments. The student is guided through the narratives of three adopted children, helping to identify issues and provide tools & resources to enhance the child’s learning experience.
